Tim Murawski is a seasoned leader in the medical device industry. He has served as President and Chief Commercial Officer of Augmedics, Inc., since December 2012. Before joining Augmedics, he held executive leadership positions at GE Healthcare and Smith & Nephew, where he led their Orthopedic Reconstruction businesses in North America and Europe respectively. Tim Murawski also has specific expertise in bringing innovative technologies to market, developing go-to-market strategies for new medical devices and surgical navigation systems.
Tim Murawski provides his clients with business acumen that he gained from successful leadership roles at GE Healthcare, Smith & Nephew, as well as many other companies throughout his career. One of his major roles includes creating customer value through product development initiatives by leveraging operational excellence across the organization. In addition, Tim Murawski helped with leading all aspects of marketing strategy for Augmedics products within their growing suite of surgical navigation solutions. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Rutgers University at Buffalo, followed by an MBA with a concentration in marketing and finance from Rider University. He is also certified as a Six Sigma Black Belt through Villanova University. He joined several associations throughout his career. He is a member of the Rutgers University MBA Alumni Association, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
